KushScan is a mobile application that uses advanced technology to analyze dry kush strains through photographs. The app provides information on the strain's type, THC level, and sativa/indica ratio. Using our extensive database, the application displays the three most visually similar strains. Users have the option to take a new photo or select one from their gallery.

With KushScan, you can perform cannabis testing on the go. Understanding what you're smoking and the potency of the strain is made easier. The sativa/indica ratio helps predict the mood and effects of the strain. After making a prediction, users can tap on a flower photo to access extended information about the marijuana.

The app's algorithm has been trained to recognize 20 different strains including Chocolope, Durban Poison, G13, Hindu Kush, Jack Herer, Lemon Haze, Northern Lights, OG Kush, Pineapple Express, AK-47, Amnesia Haze, Blue Dream, Bubble Gum, Girl Scout Cookies, Gorilla Glue, Green Crack, Pink Kush, Sour Diesel, and White Widow. If a specific strain is not in our database, the most relevant from the known 20 will be selected.

Despite its simplicity in usage, KushScan is backed by sophisticated computer vision algorithms. Over two years of research were dedicated to developing and customizing texture and color features that accurately describe different marijuana strains.

The app's database is continually updated through in-depth genetic analysis of hundreds of well-known marijuana varieties.
